4 Days Erg Chigaga trip from Marrakech with Tour Kasbahs and Nomads to Ride Camels

Marrakech to Zagora – 4 Days Erg Chigaga dunes:

Erg Chigaga is one of two major dunes. First of all, we leave in the morning Marrakech crossing the High Atlas Mountains through a port of 2,260 m. Therefore, we visit the Ait Ben haddou kasbah, Ouarzazate and Zagora. In addition, on this 4 days Chigaga trip from Marrakech, we spend a night in camp with camel ride too!

Day 2: Zagora – Mhamid – Erg Chegaga dunes:

We continue the trip to Erg Chigaga through the small village of Tamegroute. While, it has a history as an important center of learning and religion. Hence, Mhamid El Ghizlane, is a small oasis town in southern Morocco with about 7500 inhabitants. Therefore, Erg Chigaga dunes is the perfect trip to spend a magical time in the desert.

Day 3: Erg Chigaga – Foum Zguid – Taznakht – Ouarzazate:

We continue the trip crossing desert via the old Paris Dakar route and the dry Lake Iriqi. In conclusion, we drive through Tazenakht. It is a place famous by its carpets and rugs. Late evening, at Ouarzazate to visit taourirt Kasbah and studio of Cinema. Ouarzazate is a Moroccan Hollywood. Many movies were filmed such as Lawrence of Arabia, Gladiators and Prince of Persia.

Day 4: Ouarzazate – Atlas Mountains – Marrakech:

We cross the magnificent Atlas Mountains to discover Telouet, Ait Benhaddou and Ouarzazate. Ouarzazate the first port of call is Telouet. It is a village on the Route of the Caravans from the Sahara. Enjoy a journey from Ouarzazate to Marrakech for views of valleys and desert. Late evening, we drive back to Marrakech.
